Abstracts Sought for CENS-sponsored EU Frontiers Student Paper Series

The Center for EU Enlargement Studies (CENS) initiated the “EU Frontiers Student Paper Series” as an online platform geared towards students and young experts of European foreign policy. As a policy research institution, CENS is dedicated to contributing to the debate on the future of a “Wider Europe” by exploring the effects and lessons of previous EU enlargements, assessing the developments concerning enlargement policy in the Western Balkans and Turkey, as well as the neighborhood policy towards the European Union’s Eastern neighborhood.

In the “EU Frontiers Student Paper Series,” CENS welcomes papers that suit the Center’s research profile, specifically European enlargement and neighborhood policy vis-à-vis the Western Balkans, the Eastern neighborhood and Turkey; as well as works that deal with the lessons of previous enlargements.

CENS invites interested graduate and postgraduate students, as well as early career experts not older than 30 years of age to send a 300 word abstract and a CV by April 22. Selected candidates will be invited to submit a 4,000-6,000-word paper by May 31.
