Ethical Research Committee Introduces Mandatory Training

October 22, 2013

The Ethical Research Committee held an introductory session on Oct. 18 about upcoming mandatory research ethics training. Committee members introduced an online training tool and invited questions from the prospective participants who attended. As faculty and staff were notified recently, CEU’s Ethical Research Policy stipulates that all CEU staff memberswhose research can involve ethical issues—or directly involves administering such research—are required to receive research ethics training at least once every five years. More on the online training program can be found here: http://www.ethics.gc.ca/eng/education/tutorial-didacticiel.
