Erasmus Staff Training Grants Available for 2013/2014

CEU administrative employees are eligible to apply for Erasmus funding for training at a partner institution or participation in conferences or workshops. The deadline for this first application cycle is June 30. The duration of the exchange must be five working days. Shorter stays are allowed in the case of conferences, seminars, and workshops. The training should be completed by September 30, 2014. A list of CEU's partner institutions in the Erasmus Program is available at http://acro.ceu.hu/node/1111.

CEU endeavors to support as many applications as possible within the limits of the available budget. The maximum grant amount will be €500 - €800. Staff members will receive their salaries while away on the Erasmus training. The grant is intended as a contribution to travel and subsistence costs, and does not cover all expenses. Where possible, the applicant's CEU unit can supplement the grant from its own budget. Priority is given to first-time candidates. Eligible applicants must hold an employment contract with the Kozep-europai Egyetem. Application materials should include a completed application form (attached), a work plan approved by all parties, a budget estimate, and a recommendation letter from the applicant's immediate supervisor.

Applications should be submitted, unstapled, to the Erasmus Office by June 30. Applications received after the deadline, emailed applications, and incomplete applications will not be considered. Applicants will be notified about the decision within four weeks. The Academic Cooperation and Research Support Office will hold an information session about the application procedure. Details of the event will be sent by e-mail. The ACRO contact is Erzsebet Racz, coordinator, Erasmus/LLP programs.
