The European Commission has launched a call for proposals under the INTRA-ACP (Africa-Caribbean-Pacific) academic mobility scheme. The objective of the program is to promote sustainable development and poverty alleviation by increasing the availability of trained and qualified high-level professionals in African, Caribbean, and Pacific countries. More specifically, it aims to strengthen cooperation among higher education institutions in Africa, the Caribbean, and the Pacific to increase access to quality education. This will encourage and enable students to undertake postgraduate studies and to promote student retention in the region along with mobility of academic and administrative staff, while increasing competitiveness and attractiveness of the institutions themselves. The deadline for applications is June 10. For more information, see http://eacea.ec.europa.eu/intra_acp_mobility/funding/2013/call_eacea_45_....
