The Aleksanteri Institute, an independent institute of the University of Helsinki that is also known as the Finnish Centre for Russian and Eastern European Studies, invites applications for Aleksanteri Visiting Fellowships for the academic year 2013‑2014. Scholars holding a PhD degree and pursuing research that relates to the institute's research agenda are eligible for the fellowships, which carry a monthly stipend of €2,600 to cover all research visit expenses over two to three months.
