Erasmus Mundus Program

The Erasmus Mundus Program has had an enormous impact on master's-level teaching and recruitment at CEU since 2005. This program provides fellowships for students coming to study to Europe from around the world, and recently also for students residing in Europe. European and participating countries must form a consortium of three or more partner universities for the purpose of developing a brand new master's-level or doctoral curriculum and delivering it jointly. These programs have enabled CEU to forge lasting collaborations with preeminent universities across Europe and have also contributed to the integration of CEU in Hungarian higher education. Starting in 2005 and 2006 respectively, CEU has been participating in three Erasmus Mundus Master's courses; their success has been demonstrated by the fact that their funding was continued for a second five-year period.
