CEU's Open Society Archives (OSA) was renamed the Vera and Donald Blinken Open Society Archives at a Nov. 3 dedication event in honor of the couple, who have provided a major bequest to sustain the institution. Ambassador Blinken served as U.S. ambassador to Hungary from 1994-1998, and Vera was born in Budapest, fleeing to the United States with her widowed mother in 1950. Coverage of the event:

The former French Foreign Minister Bernard Kouchner gave four interviews, to the right of center and second biggest daily Magyar Nemzet, to the second biggest online news portal Origo, to the most influential political-cultural weekly for the urban intellectuals Magyar Narancs, and the fourth biggest online news site vs.hu. The minister discussed the migration crisis in each of his interviews.
