Vienna, September 8, 2021 – Language acquisition is one of the most investigated topics of cognitive development, not surprisingly, considering that we still haven’t managed to fully understand how babies can acquire their language in such a fast and efficient way that adults would never be able to do so. One of the many questions, for example, often in the focus of research is how can babies make inferences regarding the meanings of novel words they hear in their environment.
September 17, 2021, Vienna – CEU formally launched its 2021/22 Academic Year on September 16, 2021, welcoming more than 700 new students from more than 100 countries to the university, some 75% outside of the EU.
