The CEU community had a refreshing taste of south Asian performing arts when Saumya Shukla, a well-known performer of the Indian classical dance form, Kathak (literally meaning “Story”), performed and also narrated the history, traditions and intricacies of this enchanting form on December 8 in the new CEU auditorium.
This year’s DeStress Week, organized by Student Leadership and Service Office in collaboration with the Alumni Office, the Center for Arts and Culture, the Sustainability Committee and the CEU Sports Center was held between November 7-11. The programs of the week were designed to help relax, unwind and have fun. Students, faculty and staff were welcome at the Stress-free Zone in the Octagon to activities such as stress management workshops, meditation and yoga classes, where they could acquire useful de-stressing skills.

The Dean of Students Office has announced recent structural changes implemented to further improve the resources in place supporting CEU students during their time at CEU and Budapest, and to support CEU's mission and the Office's efficiency. t
Changes in the Student Center :
Nearly 700 students from 81 countries received master's and doctoral degrees and program certificates at CEU's graduation ceremony on June 25. The University's 25th commencement ceremony was also the last for CEU President and Rector John Shattuck, who is stepping down this summer after seven years of distinguished service.
