The fifteenth edition of the CEU Career Days & Fair brought to campus more than 25 international employers and organizations representing corporate, governmental and nonprofit sectors. UNICEF, European Commission, UNHCR, UNFAO, Regional Environmental Center, EURAXESS, Morgan Stanley, Google, KPMG, Citi and many more met CEU students and alumni, and shared career opportunities in the region.

“Nothing about us without us,” Professor Ian Hancock of the University of Texas at Austin said in his opening remarks at a conference entitled "The Damages of Anti-Gypsyism and Tools for Improved Responses," the opening part of a colloquium on hate speech held at CEU on March 17.
Central European University honored over 300 long-serving faculty and staff at an event to officially launch the 25th anniversary of the university’s founding in 1991. The March 18 event, “In Service to Open Society,” recognized 11 academic departments and special programs that were launched in the first five years, and faculty and staff who have been with CEU for more than 20 years were presented with a symbolic key to the University.

Center for Jewish History in New York City hosted the book launch of Andras Koerner's How they Lived: The Everyday Lives of Hungarian Jews, 1867-1940, took place on February 8 in front of a sold-out audience.
