CEU plans to break ground in late 2013 or early 2014 on its campus redevelopment plan, which involves renovation and new construction of approximately 35,000 square meters at the downtown Budapest campus. The project, which will consolidate the University's academic and administrative operations, is one component of CEU’s overarching Strategic Development Plan.

Copies of the 2011 CEU Annual Report—published in spring 2012—are available to faculty or staff who would like some to distribute at events or use for other purposes. During the upcoming semester, the Communications Office will produce a general-purpose brochure based on the 2011 report, which will be updated and republished annually. The next CEU annual report will be released about this time next year.
