In September, CEU received 1,332,160 email messages from outside CEU, of which 740,935 arrived in active mailboxes and 591,225 were filtered out as spam, according to IT Director Szilard Bedecs. CEU has about two terabytes of data stored within its email system—approximately one-fifth the capacity required to house the entire printed collection of the U.S. Library of Congress.
