Twenty-one participants from nine European countries enjoyed a week-long training in Budapest focusing on university partnerships in the social sciences and humanities. The Erasmus Staff Training Week, organized third time at CEU took place this year between June 25 and 29. International officers, project coordinators, study abroad coordinators, and even career advisors and press officers joined the event from Belarus, the Czech Republic, Georgia, Germany, Greece, Poland, Romania, Slovenia and Spain.

PricewaterhouseCoopers has been working with CEU’s administration, employees and faculty to assess the university’s compliance with the EU’s General Data Protection Regulation. The report is expected to be finalized by the end of March, and recommendations on good practices and new data handling policies will be shared with the CEU community after evaluating its findings. INTELLECTUAL THEMES INITIATIVE Call for Proposals Academic Year 2018/19 CEU academic staff members are invited to submit project proposals for new teaching, research, or civic engagement activities under the Intellectual Themes Initiative (ITI). At the suggestion of the Strategic Development Committee, ITI also serves as a privileged vehicle for developing and offering University-wide Courses (UWC). Starting with this call, we are introducing a separate application form for University-wide Courses.
