The CEU Senate approved the following new academic programs and program changes at its last meeting on November 27, 2015. Decisions on new and existing US-registered degree programs enter into force only after approval by the New York State Education Department (NYSED). This will be announced separately. - New degree program at the CEU Business School: “MSc in Management and Entrepreneurship” (proposed start date September 2017, pending NYSED registration).

After much preliminary groundwork with an early adopter group, CEU’s IT Department is now ready to begin phase #3 of the Microsoft Office 365 implementation project, which involves migrating all faculty, staff and PhD students at CEU to the new Microsoft Office 365 system - a process that should be complete by the end of this academic year. The new system will offer not only a robust, state-of-the-art e-mail system, but also significantly greater storage space for e-mails and documents, powerful collaboration possibilities and accessibility on a variety of devices.

The Hungarian Red Cross, with the cooperation of the External Relations Office, will hold a blood drive on Feb. 1 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the TIGY Room (Nador 11, room 006, ground floor, entrance in courtyard). To register, participants will need to produce one form of ID from each of the following three categories: 1) official ID/passport; 2) residence card/residence permit; or 3) TAJ card/EU health insurance card (blue) or national social security card. After being registered, volunteers will receive a simple blood test to determine if they are eligible to participate.
