The Spring Ball, organized by the Student Union and the Student Life Office, was held on May 9. Themed Red Carpet Night, it attracted almost 1,000 people. Guests boarded the Europa Boat, which cruised the Danube, offering spectacular views of the city. This year, the balmy weather allowed for the opening of the panorama deck upstairs, so that party-goers could enjoy the night cityscape of Budapest. Many people danced to the sounds of a live band and DJ, while others played card games and the roulette in the lounge. The party lasted until 4 a.m.
