CEU's Center for Religious Studies (CRS), with the support of the CEU Intellectual Themes Initiative, announces a University-wide Doctoral Seminar series entitled Reason, Unreason and Nature in Religion.
This is a regular 12-session seminar from January 19 through March 2017 with eight external speakers featuring renown international scholars from a range of fields, presenting unique perspectives on the central theme.

Who can participate? Anyone from the CEU community (students, alumni, staff, faculty), can be an individual or a unit/club/group/team etc.
Timelines: every Tuesday. Participants should submit their 3-5 pictures to Gabriella Emszt at emsztg@ceu.edu or Aranka Szabo at szaboar@ceu.edu by 4 p.m. on the day before the takeover.

CEU has announced the call for applications for its sixth annual European Award for Excellence in Teaching in the Social Sciences and Humanities. The award, launched in 2011, honors academics in the social sciences and humanities who teach at higher education institutions in the European Higher Education Area (EHEA). The Diener Prize of 5,000 euros, which accompanies the award, is made possible by a generous gift from Steven and Linda Diener in memory of Ilona Diener.

The Human RightS Initiative (HRSI) is hosting a celebration of the Coming Out Day on October 10-11. It is an annual LGBTQI awareness day when we celebrate coming out as a member of the LGBTQI community or as an ally, and promote a safe world for LGBTQI people to live truthfully and openly.

The Human RightS Initiative (HRSI) at CEU offers a one–day intensive workshop on the Basics of Project Management at CEU on Saturday, October 15, 2016 from 9 AM – 5 PM.
This workshop aims to provide participants with practical skills needed to work in the non-profit sector. The workshop is recommended to participants with no or relatively little experience in project management.
Goals of the training
To equip course participants with tools and knowledge which enable them to lead the implementation of any project in their own organization.
