CEU came together for an “open mic” event on March 23 during the spring semester's de-stress week to have fun and let our hair down. The annual Open Mic is a fun event that brings together talented members of the CEU community, including current students, alumni, and staff.

During the annual NGO fair organized by CEU's Human Rights Initiative in March, the Career Services department at CEU hosted a panel discussion with three alumni who work in NGOs to share their experiences: Katarzyna Pabijanek (GENS '05), Marta Vetier (ENVS '07), and Balint Nemeth (SPP '16).
With the weather getting warmer, you should think about taking a short vacation to Lake Balaton if you have never been. My studies at CEU started out with a very memorable trip to the lake. Before the beginning of classes in September, students from the Department of Environmental Sciences and Policy were invited to join a three-day retreat on Lake Balaton—the largest lake in Central Europe, which is also known as the Hungarian Sea.
