Hungarian commercial television program TV2 News interviewed Diana Urge-Vorsatz, professor in the department of Environmental Sciences and Policy at CEU, about the benefits of energy efficiency. “As a result of energy efficiency, more profit will be left with the families, more money will remain in their pocket after paying the energy bills, and we will also be much healthier. More jobs will be created, energy scarcity will cease to exist, and these investments will have a lot of other benefits as well,” said the expert.

Hungarian magazine for educators Magyar Iskola reports: Magonc Foundation, engaged in environmental education, organized an extraordinary camp this fall for youngsters from three countries. The solutions presented there can be adopted by teachers as well. The professional part of the camp consisted of introducing best practices and community solutions regarding Budapest as a big city, in the framework of which the participants could become acquainted with the Szimpla Farmers’ Market, the Szatyor community initiative and the sustainability action group at CentralEuropeanUniversity.
