Hungarian women’s magazine’s special edition, Sikeres Nok Top 50, lists Professor Diana Urge-Vorsatz from CEU’s Department of Environmental Sciences and Policy in the top 50 list of the most successful Hungarians. She has been teaching at CEU since 1996, and is an active member of the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC), which in 2007 shared the Nobel Peace Prize with Albert Arnold Gore Jr. In 2008 she was awarded the Order of Merit of the Hungarian Republic in the Hungarian Parliament. She is the mother of seven children.
