Thanksgiving in the US is celebrated on the fourth Thursday of November, therefore this year it was on 22nd of the month and I had the opportunity to celebrate it here in Budapest. The history of Thanksgiving is rather debatable, so I will focus on the aspect of having a delicious dinner with my friends.

Budapest, március 21. – Pető Andrea, a CEU professzora, az MTA doktora, egyetemi tanár kapja az Európai Akadémiák Kulturális Értékteremtésért járó Madame de Staël-díjat 2018-ban a társadalmi nemek és a kortárs európai történelem kutatásában végzett széleskörű tudományos munkájáért. A díjat odaítélő zsűri kiemelte Pető Andrea hozzájárulását a második világháború, a holokauszt és a politikai szélsőségek európai, társadalmi nemek által meghatározott emlékezetének feltárásához.
