CEU’s Human RightS Initiative (HRSI) seeks applications to a one–day intensive workshop on Fundraising at CEU from 9 am to 5 pm Saturday, November 25.
This workshop aims to provide students with practical skills needed to work in the not–for–profit sector. The workshop is recommended to those who have no or relatively little experience in fundraising. Participants will:
- learn the principles and the key concepts of fundraising, and will learn best practices adaptable for their own organizations
The Human RightS Initiative (HRSI) at CEU offers a one–day intensive workshop on the Basics of Project Management at CEU on Saturday, October 28, 2017 from 9 AM – 5 PM.
This workshop aims to provide participants with practical skills needed to work in the non-profit sector. The workshop is recommended to participants with no or relatively little experience in project management.
Goals of the training
To equip course participants with tools and knowledge which enable them to lead the implementation of any project in their own organization.
Tickets are available for THE VAGINA MONOLOGUES*, the award winning play by Eve Ensler PERFORMED BY CEU STUDENTS. The performance is based on interviews with over 200 women and reflects on our societies with humor, grace and irony and celebrates women's sexuality and strength.
It will take place on Friday, February 24, 7 p.m. in N15 Auditorium and will be staged at CEU for the 9th time.
Human RightS Initiative is pleased to announce a call for the editorial team, as well as abstracts and photographs for the 14th issue of The Activist. This annual HRSI student-led journal is aimed at providing CEU students with an opportunity to publish their works that are related to the topic of human rights, and to gain experience in publishing and editing processes. Students from all departments are welcome.
Human RightS Initiative is pleased to announce that the annual production of The Vagina Monologues (TVM), as part of the global V-day campaign (until the violence stops), will once again be organized at Central European University.
If interested in participating, contact HRSI at hrsi@ceu.edu by January 19. The auditions will be held between January 23-27 (the exact timings are subject to discussion with individual participants).

- become familiar with different fundraising techniques and their adaptability
