Hungarian women’s magazine Marie Claire discusses the topic of Caesarean section through personal testimonies and comes to the conclusion that ,usually, there is no disagreement regarding its life-saving function; however, it is questionable why women are not consulted about it in non-emergency situations. Why aren’t women provided adequate information about it?, asks the Hungarian monthly.

http://nol.hu/kultura/arnyalva-es-lenyugozve-1475903 - Hungarian news portal nol.hu reports: Gabor Betegh, currently head of CEU Department of Philosophy, considered to be among the best 100 Philosophy departments of the world by the QS Rankings, will be Laurence Professor of Ancient Philosophy at the University of Cambridge from the fall of 2014. Betegh will lead the oldest institute in the world dealing with Ancient Philosophy.

Hungarian daily, Nepszabadsag reports: At the beginning of this month, Jesse Prinz, one of the most authoritative American philosophers specialized in ethics and esthetics attended a conference in Budapest organized by the CEU Department of Philosophy. He gave an interview about the emotional drivenness of our moral judgments, his moral relativism, his anarchism, and also about Martin Luther King and the protests in Turkey. According to the latest Quacquarelli Symonds (QS) rankings, released Feb. 26, CEU’s programs in politics and international studies, as well as philosophy, scored among the best in the world again in 2014. CEU is the only university in Hungary with programs among the top 100 in the 2014 subject rankings.
