Hungarian daily Nepszabadsag reports: The CEU Center for European Neighborhood Studies (CENS) and the Friedrich Ebert Stiftung (FES) organized a conference at CEU entitled “Refugees' trajectories in the EU in the context of recent developments in Turkey - Where do we stand now?” on Sept. 28. The event brought together experts from Turkey and the EU to discuss refugees' and asylum seekers' situation in camps and on the road, potential integration models, and security implications of the refugee crisis.

The rule of law is so essential to democracy that it is the guiding principle in key issues today – fighting the lawless ISIL, tackling corruption, guaranteeing human rights for asylum seekers, and securing a free and democratic Ukraine, according to U.S. Ambassador to Hungary Colleen Bell, speaking at CEU May 17.
