On February 23, the JOSz (Jogaszhallgatok Onkepzo Szervezete, an organization of law students) at the Law Faculty of the Eotvos Lorand University organized an open debate between Foreign Minister Peter Szijjarto and Peter Balazs, former Minister of Foreign Affairs and director of the CEU Center for EU Enlargement Studies (CENS). The debate, chaired by JOSz representative David Surjanyi, covered the most pressing topics of Hungarian foreign policy ranging from relations with Russia, the U.S.

Hungary’s news radio, Info Radio reported about the expert roundtable discussion at CEU on Feb. 17. The event entitled “Energy and Security in Ukraine – Implications for Europe and the West” was organized by CEU’s Center for EU Enlargement Studies (CENS) and the U.S. Embassy in Budapest. In the interview, Peter Balazs, director of CENS, and Andras Deak, senior research fellow at the Institute of World Economics, Hungarian Academy of Sciences, shared their expert opinion on the topic in detail.
