CEU School of Public Policy Professor Martin Kahanec's new book “Labor Migration, EU Enlargement, and the Great Recession” was presented at CEU on October 6.
Kahanec's co-editor Klaus F. Zimmermann and one of the contributors, Agnes Hars, joined the panel discussion.

A consortium of six universities including CEU has been awarded funding of nearly two and a half million Euros under the European Union’s Horizon 2020 framework (Call H2020-SC6-REV-INEQUAL-2016-2017 Reversing Inequalities and Promoting Fairness) for a three year multidisciplinary research project entitled ETHOS – Towards the European THeory Of juStice and fairness.

The Eurocrisis and, even more recently, the migration crisis have contributed to instability, financial hardship and Euroskepticism within the EU. However, Danuta Hubner, member of the European Parliament and chair of the EU Committee on Constitutional Affairs, says it could be worse while emphasizing that extraordinary work must be done to keep the situation from getting worse. Hubner presented her lecture “The European Union’s Constitutional Challenges After the Euro Crisis” on March 17.
